Final-product user manual mentions optional Bluetooth - please explain certification and marketing conditions and status for Bluetooth to be used in conjunction with this DTS & DSS FCC ID. Response: The optional Bluetooth transmitter described in the IX325 user manual for use in conjunction with the WLAN transmitter described in this filing has been evaluated for FCC compliance in a separate composite application currently pending with the Commission under FCC ID: KBCIX325-CWLBT (submitted on May 4, 2006). Itronix Corporation supplies the end user with the final product dependant on the end user’s desired configuration, which could be the WLAN described in this filing with or without the optional Bluetooth. For this reason, separate certification applications have been filed with the Commission to cover approvals for the WLAN described in this filing with and without the optional Bluetooth. The final product supplied to the end user is identified by Itronix Corporation with the FCC ID label applicable for the specific transmitter configuration installed. Appropriate statements are located in the IX325 user manual and radio specific safety information exhibits informing the user that the product supplied must not be used in conjunction with any other transmitter. 1b. Please address same question as preceding for Part 22/24/27/90 or other licensed-services operations. Response: The IX325 with 802.11abg WLAN as described in this filing is intended for use only in this transmitter configuration, or with optional Bluetooth as described in the response to 1a above under separate composite certification. The use of optional licensed transmitters described in the IX325 user manual are not intended for use with the WLAN described in this filing. The optional licensed transmitters described in the IX325 user manual have been certified, or are in the process of being certified, under separate FCC ID applications, either as single transmitter configurations, or as co- located transmitter configurations. 2) As we understand from company/grantee webpage, a kneeboard accessory is available for some Itronix products - please explain whether kneeboard is applicable for this product, and explain how SAR results in this filing are applicable for RF exposure compliance demonstration in that configuration. Response: Per Itronix Corporation, the kneeboard accessory was developed for a military application that does not utilize an internal radio transmitter application. Itronix Corporation has confirmed that the kneeboard accessory will be removed from the website. If you have any further questions or comments concerning the above, please contact the undersigned.
