Telecommunication Certification Body 849 NW State Road 45 Newberry, FL 32669 SUBJECT: ITRONIX CORPORATION FCC ID: KBCIX-NW620 Part 24(E) - Certification Limited Modular Approval On behalf of Itronix Corporation is a Limited Modular Approval application for Part 24(E) Certification of the V620 Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem (manufactured by Novatel Wireless, Inc.) installed in the Itronix Corporation IX600 Series Rugged Laptop PC utilizing an internal SkyCross meandering line antenna installed behind the LCD display and a MaxRad vehicle-mount antenna utilized with the Itronix IX600 vehicle dock. The V620 Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem is installed in the IX600 Laptop PC by Itronix Corporation prior to shipment based on specific customer configuration requirements and is not intended for installation or reconfiguration by the end user. The V620 Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem can be co-located in the IX600 Laptop PC with an optional 802.11abg WLAN Mini- PCI Card Model: WM3B2915ABG (manufactured by Intel Corporation). A Limited Modular Approval Certification has been issued for the WLAN installed in the IX600 Laptop PC under the FCC ID: KBCIX600-IWL. The WLAN is installed in the IX600 Laptop PC by Itronix Corporation prior to shipment based on specific customer configuration requirements and is not intended for installation or reconfiguration by the end user. The WLAN and WWAN cannot transmit simultaneously (please refer to applicant’s radio management attestation letter). The V620 Dual-Band CDMA/EV-DO PCMCIA Modem can also be co-located in the IX600 Laptop PC with an optional Bluetooth Model: BCM92035NMD (manufactured by Broadcom Corporation). A Limited Modular Approval Certification has been issued for the Bluetooth installed in the IX600 Laptop PC under the FCC ID: KBCIX600-BT. The Bluetooth is installed in the IX600 Laptop PC by Itronix Corporation prior to shipment based on specific customer configuration requirements and is not intended for installation or reconfiguration by the end user. The WWAN and Bluetooth can transmit simultaneously. Radiated spurious emissions measurements were evaluated for co-transmit operation of the WWAN and Bluetooth and the results were in compliance. A Limited Modular Approval Certification has also been issued for the WLAN and Bluetooth co-located within the IX600 Laptop PC under the FCC ID: KBCIX600-IWLBT. The IX600 Laptop PC may be configured by Itronix Corporation to contain either the WLAN and/or Bluetooth with the WWAN depending on the specific customer requirement. Depending on the specific transmitter configuration(s) installed based on customer requirement, Itronix Corporation will label the IX600 Laptop PC with the associated FCC ID(s) as listed above and within this application.
