RE: FCC ID: KA22003070024-1
Attention: Ellis Wu
I have a few comments on this Application.
1. Please note that the antenna cable appears to go through a hole in the card holder flange that does
not provide any strain relief or other protection to the cable. Is this is the normal manner in which
this card will be sold? Or does the antenna cable have a more secure path through the holder
    flange? Please explain. x
2. Please note that the location and size of the label area on the card appears more than sufficiently
large to accommodate the 2-condition statement as required by 15.19. Please provide a sample of
the 2-condition statement on the device itself. Alternately, please explain how placing this
statement in the manual meets the exceptions listed in 15.19(a)(5). x
3. Please note that since 5.25 is a frequency that is the upper limit for the 5.15 to 5.25 indoor band
and since the device when operating in the 5.25 to 5.35 band also uses 6.25GHz both the 5.15 to
5.25 and the 5.25 to 5.35 band must be indoor use only. Also please note that it is not typical to
use exactly 5.25GHz as a transmit frequency as this severely restricts the 5.25 to 5.35 band to
indoor use. It is also not clear on how the FCC will see this frequency as an operating frequency
as it is a band edge frequency. Please correct your manual to state that because of the use of
5.25GHz in both bands both the 5.15-5.25 and the 5.25 to 5.35 band are restricted to indoor use.
Alternately, you may want to change the use of 5.25 as a transmit frequency. x
4. FYI – I am going to ask the FCC about the use of 5.25 as a transmit frequency. I do not think this
is appropriate as it is a band edge frequency. x
