RF Exposure – FCC
The device have no specified usage distance. The device is evaluated against Portable and
Mobile usage conditions; it is evaluated against the smallest separation distance and against
the tightest limit for SAR exemption and for MPE limit.

General SAR test exclusion guidance:
As per FCC KDB 447498 Section 4.3.1 a), the 1-g SAR Test Exclusion Threshold for 100
MHz to 6 GHz at test separation distances ≤ 50 mm is determined by:

[(max. power of channel, including tune-up tolerance, mW)/(min. test separation distance,
mm)] [√f(GHz)] ≤ 3.0

Where:
f(GHz) is the RF channel transmit frequency in GHz

SAR Calculations: 915 MHz transmitter
Peak conducted power was measured to be 4.18 mW. At a separation distance of 5 mm,
this results to:

[4.18 mW / 5 mm]*[√0.915 GHz] = 0.8 ≤ 3.0

SAR Exclusion Threshold condition is met with peak conducted power.
