The frequency range of the vehicle identification unit was extended to 902.1 – 927.9 MHz, no other changes or variations in electrical and mechanical construction were made. For a device version operating at 902.1 MHz only - a serial SAW filter may be inserted (instead of a serial zero ohm resistor) in the receiving pass of the transceiver in order to enhance its rejection of the higher frequencies (for operation in environment reach with RFID interferencing system). The product was tested according to FCC part 15 subpart C section 15.249 and a test report with all required by FCC part 2, §2.1043 documentation are attached.
