                      RP128KCLP Proximity Keypad description

The product is a proximity keypad which enables the user easily to arm/disarm the security
system or to activate/deactivate home appliances and utilities, such as heating& lights, by
using a proximity tag.
The keypad involves a 125 kHz transmitter/receiver (Proximity IC), model EM4095,
manufactured by EM MICROELECTRONIC – MARIN SA. Transmitter frequency is
determined by self resonance of a wound coil antenna having inductance (L1) of 430
microhenry +/-1% and 3 capacitors: resonance capacitor (C7) of 3.9nF+/-5%, one voltage
divider capacitor (C4) of 27pF+/-5% and a second voltage divider capacitor (C5) of 1.5nF+/-
2%. The oscillating frequency is 100% tested in production to be within 121-129 kHz.

Antenna (Rokonet Cat. No. *396ANT) is a wound coil having exactly 42 turns of 0.18 mm
Dia., enameled, wound on a plastic (ABS) rectangular bobbin, slightly rounded at the
corners, having internal dimensions of 104.80 (L) x54.60 (W) x4.00 (H) mm. Antenna
inductance is 430 microhenry +/-1% and Q=27 (typ.) @125 kHz. Bobbin is manufactured by
Rokonet. Winding of coil is outsourced to Payton Group.
