RE: Quanta Computer, Inc.

FCC ID: HFS-HA1

After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced
Application.

1) The block diagram provided appears to be for a system. The block diagram should show the
frequencies of all oscillators in the TX portion of the device (CFR 2.1033(a)(5)). Please provide the
block diagram for the TX portion.
2) The schematic appears to be for a system. The schematic should be for the TX portion of the
device (CFR 2.1033(a)(5)). Please provide the schematic for the TX portion.
3) Please justify the use of the DoC labeling information (FCC Logo). This labeling is reserved for
particular approvals that do not appear to apply to this application (PC Peripheral, Stand alone RX,
etc.). Please justify or remove from the labeling.
4) FYI…..This application does not appear to be applicable for a DoC, therefore the DoC exhibit is not
necessary and is not being reviewed or forwarded to the FCC.
5) A system manual was provided. Is a manual available just for the EUT?
6) This device is tested to 15.249. The limits > 1 GHz do allow for average emissions. However for
readings < 1 GHz, including the fundamental, no average emissions are allowed. The limits are
strictly 94 dBuV/m for PEAK emissions, or alternatively QP emissions as long as the repetition rate
is > 20 Hz during the measurements. Please correct the report.
7) The average calculation shown and used for average measurements > 1 GHz does not appear
correct. From the data, it appears that 33.386774/100 should have been used. Please correct all
   calculations and data as necessary.
