Subject: Class II Permissive Change FCC ID: HD5-CK65L0N

Dear Application Examiner:

Honeywell International Inc is submitting an application for a Class II Permissive Change to permit a new RF
exposure condition, in which the radios within Honeywell Model: CK65L0N (FCC ID: HD5-CK65L0N) mobile
computer are co-located with the radios within Intermec Model: IP30C Handheld RFID Reader.

The IP30C contains Intermec Model: IM11 RFID radio module (FCC ID: EHA-IM11) and BlueGiga Model: WT12
Bluetooth radio module (FCC ID: QOQWT12).

The RF Exposure condition occurs when the Honeywell Model: CK65L0N mobile computer interfaces with the
Intermec Model: IP30C Handheld RFID Reader. The two devices are mechanically attached and interface through
Bluetooth pairing.

In this configuration, only hand-held use is possible, so MPE estimates were performed for the co-located radios. In
addition to the RF Exposure report that documents compliance for body exposure, extremity SAR for the handheld use
condition was evaluated in a separate test report.

No changes have been made to the hardware or software of the radios in these co-located configurations.

Your efforts in reviewing this application are greatly appreciated. Please contact me if there are questions or
additional information needed concerning this request.

Sincerely,

Sean MacKellar
