Re: Request for Class II Permissive Change

Enclosed is an application and exhibits for a Class II Permissive Change of remote control transmitter
Model 300MC, which is manufactured by The Chamberlain Group Inc. The original Date of Grant
HBW2281 was May 22, 2006.

The transmitter referenced in the original test report ETR 36502-01 as Model 115MC is identical to
Model 300MC.

We have made product improvements that resulted in an increase in output power. The new schematic
is part number 195D2342C. I have enclosed a copy of the Data page from Elite’s Test Report No.
36502-01, test date April 3, 2006 and a copy of the Test Data taken on June 30, 2006 for comparison.

Also, please apply the Confidentiality Request of the original submission to this application. Please
include the schematic, block diagram, and theory of operation as part of the confidentiality request.

            SINGLE FUNCTION, REMOTE CONTROL TRANSMITTER
                              Model 300MC


1. The instructions include statements required to assure compliance with the Commission's Rules; Part
15.

2. Labeling is in accordance with the Commission's labeling requirements, Parts 2 and 15, Section
15.19.

3. This transmitter is intended for use with the certified receivers of garage door and gate operator
systems manufactured by Chamberlain.

4. The transmitter is equipped with an automatically releasing push-button switch. Transmission is
terminated upon release of the push-button.

5. The Model 300MC transmitter is factory set to 300 ± 0.1% MHz. It is not intended to be readjusted
in the field, and specific instructions prohibiting tampering are provided to the user.

6. Test data for Model 300MC is part of this submission. No emissions were detected in the forbidden
bands below 1.0 GHz.
