Ad-hoc will not be supported on channels within the frequency bands a. 802.11n: (20MHz: 2412~2462MHz; 40MHz: 2422~2452MHz) b. Band 1: (20MHz: 5180~5240MHz; 40MHz: 5190~5230MHz) c. Band 2: (20MHz: 5260~5320MHz; 40MHz: 5270~5310MHz) d. Band 3: (20MHz: 5500~5700MHz; 40MHz: 5510~5670MHz) e. Band 4: (20MHz: 5745~5825MHz; 40MHz: 5755~5795MHz) 3. Ad-hoc will be supported in 802.11bg (2412~2462MHz) mode 4. is not able to operate in non-US frequencies, country code selection will be disable. 5. cannot operate as a client device on frequencies within the band 5600 – 5650MHz in US. 6. In non associated mode, that software and associated drivers will not initiate any transmission on DFS frequencies. This includes transmissions for beacon ad-hoc peer-to-peer modes.
