                                    Pull Cord Unit




z     Operation
      z   Pull Cord Unit (PCU) is employed for radio control purpose during emergencies
          involving fire, security, safety of life….and so on.
      z   When emergency switch is pulled down, the PCU will transmit a signal to panel and
          LED will flash every 2 secs. PCU will continue to retransmit the signal every 5 mins.
      z   When the emergency switch is pushed up (return to standby position), the PCU will
          perform 3 quick flashes and transmit restore signal to panel. The LED flash and
          PCU transmission will cease.

z     Battery
      The PCU uses two 1.5V “AAA” Alkaline batteries.
      The PCU can detect low battery automatically by performing self test every 21 hrs.
      Low battery detection operates at a threshold of 2.3V ± 2%. If 3 consecutive signal
      transmissions (spaced at least 30 secs apart) occur with battery below 2.3V, a low battery
      code will be sent with the 4th signal transmission.


      This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
      two conditions:
      (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any
      interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
