Dear Sir/Madam:

Enclosed please find an FCC EOA—24LIVIOM312 Class 2 permissive change application. The
device is a wireless hearing aid intended for use by the hearing impaired. The wireless features
are used during the initial fitting of a hearing aid to program the hearing aid, and used during
normal usage to communicate control information and digital audio to and from any properly
configured Bluetooth Low Energy compliant accessory and between a binaural pair of Livio
hearing aids.

No changes have been made to the device hardware; the change is a software change enabling a
new transmission mode with the 2 MB/s Bluetooth Low Energy protocol as defined in version 5.0
of the Bluetooth Core Specification that has a 1 MHz occupied bandwidth.

Further details and supporting documents are attached.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the undersigned.

Sincerely,
sAyV, / £ /
