Operational Description The 195Eg RF Modem is a fully functional wireless LAN transceiver operating in the 2.4 – 2.4835 GHz ISM band. The unit is typically used in law enforcement or industrial applications. The modem consists of three main PC board assemblies: 1) CPU Board 2) Radio Board 3) PA Board The radio is built around a Broadcom 802.11b/g chipset. RF channels utilized are channels 1 – 11 (2412 MHz – 2462 MHz). The modem has two rf antenna ports. Port 1 is Receive only and Port 2 is TX. Both ports are reverse gender TNC connections to restrict the use of antennas to those provided by the manufacturer as listed in the User Manual.
