This application is to add new antennas and provide an updated approved antenna list. This application also requests the IM5r3 grant be revised to “Limited Modular Approval” to accommodate “Professional Installation”. RFID technology is used in specific locations and is limited in marketing to industrial and commercial users. Intermec RFID products are never sold to the general public. The installations are always overseen by Intermec systems engineers or RFID certified partners. The IM5r3 RFID radio is unchanged and continues to operate at a maximum of 940 milliwatts as frequency hopping spread spectrum transmitter operating within the 902.75 – 927.25 MHz band. The radio is designed read and write information to passive RFID tags. Your efforts in reviewing this application are greatly appreciated.
