2 Corporate Center Drive Melville, NY 11747 516-577-2000 CFS8DL6SHK FCC COVER LETTER Date: 02/21/2018 To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to inform you of our request for a new certification for our transceiver known as CFS8DL6SHK. The transceiver will operate under Part 15.247. The device will be available under two manufactuer model names – SiXSHOCK / SiXSHOCKA and SiXFLOOD / SiXFLOODA. The versions with the “A” suffix will be electrically and mechanical identical to their non "A" counterparts. The differences are specific to the packaging and documentation for marketing purposes. All devices will share the same FCC ID. The SiXFLOOD and SiXFLOODA are depopulated version of the SiXSHOCK and SiXSHOCKA. The components that are depopulated are not located in and around the RF circuitry. A summary of differences is listed below: • SIXFLOOD and SIXSHOCK share the same PCB, P/N 200-01883V1 • The SIXFLOOD will not populate the components of the shock sensor and reed switch. • R20, the pull-up resistor in the terminal block circuit will be different from SIXSHOCK. 825K ohm resistor was determined to work with the flood probe. Full testing was performed on the SiXSHOCK / SiXSHOCKA and spurious emissions measurements were repeated on the SiXFLOOD / SiXFLOODA.
