RE: Microsoft Corporation

FCC ID: C3KMN730

After a review of the submitted information, I have a few comments on the above referenced Application.

1) The operational description mentions that this device is seeking a limited modular approval. However,
please note that a modular approval letter was not supplied. Additionally, this device appears to be for use
in any general computer with PCI slot which is also supported by the users manual. Please supply further
information or correct the operational description as necessary.
2) Note 3 in the test report mentions 3 antennas, however it appears that only 1 antenna is used and was
   tested. Please explain.
3) Power spectral density tests require a sweep time of Span/3 kHz. For the settings used in the plots
provided, this would yield a sweep time of 500 s. Note that 1 plot provided only used 10 s. Please provide
   an updated plot.
4) Page 1 of the users manual mentions that the device must be kept at least 5 cm from the end user. Page
defines the distance as 20 cm. Since this device is classified as mobile and not portable, this distance
should specify 20 cm. Please correct page 1 of the users manual to state 20 cm.
