Ref: Uniden America Corporation‘s application for Grant of Equipment Authorization for
                    FCC ID: AMWUT417, Models: CMX760 and CMX660

         To Whom It May Concern:

We are submitting an application for Grant of Equipment Authorization for a CB
         Transceiver.

There are two model numbers included in this application. Both models use the same
main PCB. The differences between these two models do not change the fundamental
RF characteristics and are permitted as Class I Permissive Changes.

The CMX660 has a small LCD display installed on a connector on the main PCB which
can be viewed by the end user through a cutout on the chassis. On the CMX760, this
LCD connector is unpopulated and there is no cutout on the chassis. Also, the CMX660
has a basic handheld microphone while the CMX760 has a more sophisticated handheld
microphone that includes an LCD display and additional control buttons. Full compliance
testing was performed on the CMX760 and more limited testing was performed on the
CMX660 to ensure that the differences do not degrade the unwanted emissions.

Should you have any questions or require any further information, please let me know.

          Regards, is
