RE: Confidentiality Request In Connection With Equipment Authorization (FCC ID AKD—7291)

To Whom This May Concern:

Romano LLC and its affiliates (collectively, "Romano") seek protection of specific confidential materials
and information we‘re otherwise required to include in Romano‘s submission for equipment authorization
for our product with the FCC ID AKD—7291.

Short Term Confidentiality Protection

We exercise the right, as permitted under the FCC‘s Public Notice of June 15, 2004 (DA 04—1705) and
under the marketing regulations under 47 CFR Section 2.803 and 47 CFR Section 2.1204, to keep the
below documents confidential for 180 days from when we submit our equipment authorization for the
above product:

= Internal and external photos
a SAR and other test set—up photos
a User manual

Because we only share this information with third parties under obligations of confidential to Romano, it
is critical to our business to keep it confidential. If this information were shared by virtue of our seeking
FCC approval for this product before we announce and start shipping our product, third parties, including
our competitors, would get inside information about our business plans and that access would hurt our
business and our ability to successfully compete with others.

Permanent Confidentiality Protection

Other parts of this equipment authorization request contain information that Romano never makes public,
even after we start shipping our products to our customers. Like the above documents, these are only
shared under strict obligations to keep this information confidential. This information reflects highly
sensitive information about how we develop our products (including this product) that, is disclosed,
would result in a substantial negative impact on our business and give others an unfair commercial
advantage over Romano. It would also give third parties a significant advantage over Romano,
particularly others who are trying to sell similar products.

Romano exercises the right, as permitted under 47 CFR Section 0.457 and 47 CFR Section 0.459 and
related rules of the FCC, that the below documents be kept confidential on an perpetual basis:

® Operational manual/description
® Block diagram
a Schematics

Thank you in advance for the FCC‘s help in protecting Romano‘s confidential information. Please feel
free to contact me if there are any questions or concerns.

                                                      Best regards,

                                                     We U
                                                      Maria Murray, President
                                                      Romano LLC
