      3. Product Overview
      420H098.00 is based on MTK MT76GEBUN, MT7EGBBUN is highly integrated single chip
      which features a low power 212 1fafbigh/ac dual‘band WiFi subsystem and a Bluetooth
      subsystem. The WiFi subsystem contains the 802.1 1arbly/mas racio, bascband, and NAG
      that are designed to meet both the low power and high throughput applicalion. MT76G8BUN
      has a 32.—it RISC MCU that handles WiFi and Bluetooth tasks, and an ARM Cortex—F4
      MCU that could offload data frame processing in WiFi host driver. The Bluetooth subsystem
      contains the Bluetooth radio, baseband, link contraller. t also uses the 32—bit RISC MCU for
      the Bluetooth protocels.

      The wireless LAN is compliant to IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11 afb/g and IEEE 802.11 ac
      standards.

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the

This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance 20cm between the radiator & your body.


Operations in the 5.15-5.25GHz band are restricted to indoor usage only.
This device meets all the other requirements specified in Part 15E, Section 15.407
of the FCC Rules.


This device is intended only for OEM integrators under the following conditions:


The antenna must be installed such that 20 cm is maintained between the antenna
and users, and
The transmitter module may not be co-located with any other transmitter or antenna.


As long as 2 conditions above are met, further transmitter test will not be required.
However, the OEM integrator is still responsible for testing their end-product for any
additional compliance requirements required with this module installed


IMPORTANT NOTE: In the event that these conditions can not be met (for example
certain laptop configurations or co-location with another transmitter), then the FCC
authorization is no longer considered valid and the FCC ID can not be used on the
final product. In these circumstances, the OEM integrator will be responsible for re-
evaluating the end product (including the transmitter) and obtaining a separate FCC
authorization.


End Product Labeling
This transmitter module is authorized only for use in device where the antenna may
be installed such that 20 cm may be maintained between the antenna and users. The
final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: “Contains FCC
ID: AK8J20H098”. The grantee's FCC ID can be used only when all FCC compliance
requirements are met.


Manual Information To the End User
The OEM integrator has to be aware not to provide information to the end user
regarding how to install or remove this RF module in the user’s manual of the end
product which integrates this module.
The end user manual shall include all required regulatory information/warning as
show in this manual.

Caution :
(i) the device for operation in the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor use to
reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite systems;


(ii) the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the bands 5250-5350 MHz
and 5470-5725 MHz shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p.
limit;
(iii) the maximum antenna gain permitted for devices in the band 5725-5850 MHz
shall be such that the equipment still complies with the e.i.r.p. limits specified for
point-to-point and non-point-to-point operation as appropriate; and
(iv) the worst-case tilt angle(s) necessary to remain compliant with the e.i.r.p.
elevation mask requirement set forth in Section 6.2.2(3) shall be clearly indicated.
(v) Users should also be advised that high-power radars are allocated as primary
users (i.e. priority users) of the bands 5250-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz and that
these radars could cause interference and/or damage to LE-LAN devices.
