FOREWARD The following information is being submitted in compliance with Part 2 and Part 87 of Title 47, Code of Federal Regulations – Telecommunications, for certification of Rockwell Collins TTR-921 and TTR-4000 TCAS II Receiver-Transmitters. This equipment is intended for quantity production by Rockwell Collins, the sole manufacturer. This submittal covers three Collins part numbers under the TTR-921 type number and one part number under the TTR-4000 type number. The part numbers for the TTR-921 are 822-1293-001, -220, and –320. Software unique to the airframe manufacturers (Boeing, McDonnel Douglas now part of Boeing, and Airbus) differentiates each part number. The part number for the TTR-4000 is 822-1294-001. The TTR-921 is a six MCU size intended for use on larger air transport aircraft. The TTR-4000 is a four MCU size intended for operation on general aviation and regional carrier aircraft.
