To whom I may concern:
This submission is to request certification for Google model # NC2-6A5, Chromecast multimedia
device, with FCC ID: A4RNC2-6A5B/IC ID: 10395A-NC26A5 that operates in 2.4GHz and
5GHz bands under FCC 15.247 and 15.407 rules. Product was originally approved under
FCC ID: A4RNC2-6A5/IC ID: 10395A-NC26A5. Manufacturer is updating it to include BT
functionality.
FCC ID product Differences:
Original FCC ID: A4RNC2-6A5/IC ID: 10395A-NC26A5 has the same board design and mechanical
design as new FCC ID: A4RNC2-6A5B/IC ID: 10395A-NC26A5 for the Chromecast multimedia
device. The model number is the same for both FCC IDs derivatives. It is model NC2-6A5
New version contains same hardware as the original. Original version supports 2.4Ghz/5GHz
and BLE radios. New version enables BT in the chip set so that it supports
2.4Ghz/5GHz/BLE and BT radios.
In this update, the new version will add BT functionality to Chromecast multimedia device.
Spot Check Verification:
Spot checks evaluation was performed on new version. Spot testing determined that original data ,
from FCC ID: A4RNC2-6A5, is still valid for this update. No new emissions were created.
