Sensor FS8320

Getting Started
The FS8320 is based on FastSensor‘s platform and is easy to use, deploy, and manage. The
sensor gathers anonymous, non—personal radio frequency signals, and is intended to be used
with FastSensor positioning and behavior analytics platform.

Installation
‘ Caution: The FS8320 sensor must be professionally installed.


Installing the Mounting Plate

                                     The FS8320 is designed to be installed at a height
                                     between 9 and 2 feet from the floor. You shall use the
                                     supplied mounting plate to install the sensor.

                                           e   Use three M4 screws on the holes indicated on
                                     the left to install the mounting plate on the ceiling, wall,
                                     or Dahua junction boxes.
                                           e   Note that the mounting pins outlined in blue shall
                                     be used to mount the sensor on the plate.




Mounting the Sensor

Installation quick check—list:

    e     Keep the sensors between 20 to 100ft (maximum) apart. Recommended 7Oft.
    e     Install the sensors at a height between 9 to 20ft from the floor.
    e     Don‘t install the sensors inside enclosures or walls; or mount on large glass, metal, or
          moving surfaces; or above the ceiling tiles.


Using Dahua Accessories and Junction Boxes
The FS8320 design is fully compatible with Dahua junction boxes models PFA—130E and
PFA—135. You can use Dahua accessories to mount the sensors:

   e   Ceiling mount extender
   e   Pole mount bracket
   e   Mount adapter

Use M4 screws and follow the directions below to attach the FS8320 to the junction boxes.

            When installed on walls, the PFA—135
           shall be mounted upside—down for the
                 correct sensor placement.

-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
   from that to which the receiver is connected.
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
To maintain compliance with FCC’s RF Exposure guidelines, This equipment should be
installed and operated with minimum distance between 20cm the radiator your body: Use
only the supplied antenna.
