For the purpose of marketing, the frequency bands of the module sold in America are locked to work only in 2.4GHz WIFI(802.11b,802.11g,802.11n ht20) and Bluetooth. The other frequency bands 2.4GHz WIFI(802.11n ht40) and 5GHz WIFI are disabled by software in factory.
