This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the condition that this device
does not cause harmful interference.

This device complies with Part 18 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following conditions: If
this device causes interference to radio or television reception or to other electronic equipment, which can
be determined by turning the NF-230 charger off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:

        • Reorient or relocate the equipment being interfered with.

        • Increase the separation between the NF-230 charger and the equipment subject to interference.

        • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the NF-230
        charger is connected.

        • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV/electronics technician for help.

CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Energous may violate FCC Rules and
negate your authority to operate this device.

2. RF Exposure Notice
The NF-230 Charger requires all persons to be at least 10 cm afar from the charger at all times except
when placing or removing the device to be charged.

3. Intended Use
    1. The purpose of the NF-230 Charger is to charge equipment outfitted with the proprietary
       Energous energy receiving circuits. The NF-230 Charger can only be used in conjunction with
       devices that contain the receiving circuits for charging the native batteries of the equipment.
    2. If a device that does not contain the Energous receiver circuits no charging will ensue and the
       NF-230 Charger will not operate.
    3. Equipment outfitted with inductive receiver circuits will not charge and the NF-230 Charger will
       not operate.
    4. Indoor operation only --not to be used in a wet area or outdoors.

4. User Operation
The NF-230 does not contain a power switch. Simply connect the mini-USB cable end to the NF-230
Charger and the USB-2 cable end to the wall adapter power supply. When not charging, the NF-230 is in
standby mode.
Place the equipment to be charged on top of the NF-230 charger. The equipment will commence charging
within a few seconds. Consult the equipment’s user manual for the time duration and procedures for
charging.

5. Mini USB Port
Insert the designated cable at the mini USB port of the Energous charger and also into the type A USB
port of the electrical AC wall power supply adapter to connect the Energous Charger.
