Keynote: A Microchip owned, new designed module ATSAMR30M18A, due to the module dimension limitations (12.7 x 11 mm), could not add the certificate ID on the module directly. We would like to apply for your permission to add the certificate ID on the Datasheet and alternatively on the shipping package instead of on the module. Description: ATSAMR30M18A FCC ID: 2ADHKR30M (Planned) (Grantee Code: 2ADHK) TOP BOTTOM Area A: 9.0 x 3.5 mm (1) Area B: 8.0 x 3 mm (2) – To be used for PCB/revision markings in the bottom layer silk screen Area C: 8.0 x 4 mm (2) Note: (1) Area for label/ Markings on Top of the RF Shield. (2) Area is visible only before soldering the module to the host board. Legibility will also be impacted by the presence of Vias beneath the RF IC. Form factor: • According to the description above, due to the dimensions limitations, we could not find an area good to print a clear certificate ID or logo. • We would like to apply for your kind permission to allow Microchip to ship the module by the new approach, in Appendix I, to add the certificate ID on the shipping/packaging box. • Appendix I is our proposal.

Appendix I We suggest adding the certificate ID on the Packaging Box. It makes it very clear for the Customs and Regulatory Agency to check the ID, and we will also add the certificate ID information in the module user manual to avoid any possible confusion to the user. Logo and ID are pasted on the Box label and noted in the User manual/ Datasheet
