 m Test Procedure
 The EUT and simulators are connected to the main power through a line impedance stabilzation network (L.1S N.
 This provides a S0D // SOuH coupling impedance for the meesuring equipment. The peripheral devices are also
 connected to the main power through a LISN that provides 2 500/SOuH coupling impedance with 50ohm
 termination
 Tabletop deviceshall be placed on a non—conducting platforn, of nominalsize 1 m by 1.5 m raised 80 om above
 the reference ground plane. The wall of sereened room shallbe located 4dom to the rear ofthe EUT. Other surtaces
 of tabletop or foor standing EUT shall be at least 8dom from any other ground conducting surface incluing one or
 more LISNs. For floor—standing device shallbe placed under the EUT wth a 1 2mm insuleting material
 Conducted emissions were investigated over the frequency range from 0.15 Miz to 30 MHz using a resolution
 bandiidth of 9 k. The equipment under test (EUT) shall be meet the limitsin section 4.1.1, as applicable,
 including the everage Imit and the quas—peak Imit when using respectively, an average detector and quasi—pek
 detector measured in accordance with the methods described of related standard. When allof peak value were
 complied with quasi—peak and average lmit fom 150kHz to 30Mz then quasi—peak and average measurement
 was unnecessery
 The AMN shall be placed 0.8 m from the boundary of the unit under test and bonded to a ground reference plane for
 ANMNs mounted on top ofthe ground reference plane. This distance is between the closest points ofthe AVN and
 the EUT All other unis of the EUT and essocisted equipment shall be at least 0,8 m from the ANN. f the mains
 power cable is longer then 1m then the eable shall be folded back and forth at the centre ofthe lead to form a
 bundle no longer then 0.4m. Allofinterconnectng oables that hang ctoser than 4dom to the ground plane shall be
 folded back and forth in the center forming a bundle 30 m to 40 om long. Allof EUT and AE shall be separate place
 more than 0.tm. All 50 0 ports ofthe LISN shall be resistvely terminated into 50 C loads when not connected to the
 measuring instrument
 If the reading ofthe measuring receiver shows fuctustions close to the limit,the reading shall be observed for at
 least 155 at each measurement frequency;the higher reading shallbe recorded with the exception of any brief
 isolated high reading which shall be ignored

 Test Procedure
Below 1GHz

The EUT and its simulators are placed on a turn table which is 0.8 meter above ground. When the EUT is floor-
standing equipment, it is placed on the ground plane which has a 12 mm non-conductive covering to insulate the
EUT from the ground plane.
The turn table is 0.8m height and 2.0m wide x 1.0m deep size. It can rotate 360 degrees to determine the position of
the maximum emission level. The spcing between the each equipment was 10cm. The mains cables are dropped to
floor and are round to recepatacle. Interconnecting cables of table top equipment that hang closer than 0.4m to the
ground plane are folded back and forth forming a bundle 0.3m to 0.4m long, hanging approximately in the middle
between ground plane and table. The EUT was positioned such that the distance from antenna to the EUT was 10
meters and the receive antenna was moved from 1m to 4m to investigate maximum highest emission at least 6
points over the frequency range from 30MHz to1GHz using a resolution bandwidth of 120 kHz and measured by the
quasi-peak detector.


According to this standard paragraph 15.109, as an alternative to the radiated emission limits, digital devices may
be shown to comply with the standards contained in Third Edition of the International Special Committee on Radio
Interference (CISPR), Pub. 22, “Information Technology Equipment - Radio Disturbance Characteristics - Limits and
Methods of Measurement”.


Above 1GHz
The Setup is same as Below 1GHz placement. The turn table is 0.8m height and 1.8m wide x 1.0m deep size.
The turn table can rotate 360 degrees to determine the position of the maximum emission level. The EUT was
positioned such that the distance from antenna to the EUT was 3 meter for above 1GHz, the highest frequency
performed according to internal source frequency of the EUT, the specification was below:

Absorber shall be spread between floor of a turn table and a receive antenna shown in 4.2.3. The antenna used
boresight antenna master from 1 meter and 4 meters to find out the maximum emission level and find the highest
emission at least 6 points. Both horizontal and vertical polarization of the antenna are set on measurement. In order
to find the maximum emission, all of the interface cables must be manipulated on radiated measurement.


Radiated emissions were applied to above 1GHz using a resolution bandwidth of 1MHz and measured by the peak
and average detector which antenna to the EUT distance was 3meters. If the EUT was meet both limits and
measurement with the average detector receiver is unnecessary.
