Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Under contract to DARPA, Ziva is testing the feasibility of an adaptive UWB system. This STA will allow demonstration of its feasibility. Due to the intense amount of signal processing required, it is impossible to build this feasibility demo at the frequencies allowed by Subpart F, Part 15. Ziva has no intent to operate at the requested frequencies for other than this feasibility demonstration.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To demonstrate adaptive UWB in two environments. The purpose is to demonstrate adaptive UWB in two environments: the University of Maryland Campus and the DARPA HQ in Arlington VA. This will allow test in two different multipath environments.
