This antenna will be mounted on an in-flight aircraft and will be pointed South East, away from the US mainland, toward XTAR-LANT which is geostationary at 30°W longitude. The antenna will not be operated below 3050m MSL altitude, except for pre-mission ground testing at MacDill AFB, Tampa FL (27.843 N lat, 82.519 W long).
