2/2.5 GHz frequencies for broadcast use are extremely limited in Los Angeles. These two frequencies are to enable the live TV production of the Rose Bowl parade. The two frequencies being applied for, are to provide wireless operation of two handheld broadcast TV cameras covering the Rose Bowl parade.
