The resort land is owned by Walt Disney World Company, Walt Disney Travel Company, and Walt Disney World Hospitality and Recreation Corporation. All are wholly owned subsidiaries of The Walt Disney Company. The Walt Disney Company is the market leader and technical innovator for wide variety of cutting edge entertainment activities. The proposed program to bring GPS Signal availability into the storage shed will provide a needed indoor location for performing maintenance on GPS enabled products and devices in addition to providing a controlled environment for further testing and evaluation of utilizing GPS technologies to further enhance or broaden the entertainment experience. GPS location based technologies provide an interesting opportunity to explore the potential benefits of incorporating these features to provide a safer and more controlled environment within our boundaries. Objectives We seek to accomplish the following objectives: 1. Illumination of the part of the Storage Shed illustrated with a GPS Signal to allow for the testing and experimentation indoors for continued exploration of utilizing GPS technologies in different ways to provide innovative applications and to allow us to continue providing the safest environment possible. 2. Further design, development and enhancement of existing GPS applications to provide greater efficiency and more effective means of utilizing GPS derived information. 3. Ability to troubleshoot and repair GPS systems without having to endure the costly time and expense to relocate the equipment outdoors.
