Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is required for preliminary experiments and to evaluate the feasibility of a full scale radio test-bed in the Arlington area.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Testing LTE. Operations will be only for the purpose of advancing radio technology. The transmissions will evaluate radio frequency systems under real world conditions. Experiment topics include spectrum sensing, dynamic frequency sharing, propagation studies, evolving communications architectures and wireless network security. Initial experiments will include LTE or LTE-like transmissions.
