Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
As part of our ongoing research into Software Defined Radio using reconfigurable computers, we desire the ability to transmit in the FM band to demonstrate the functionality of our dynamically reconfigurable radios. The operation in the FM band allows the demonstration and verification of our radios using inexpensive and available FM radio receivers.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Researching software defined radios. The purpose of this system is to demonstrate the ability to perform frequency hopping by real-time reconfiguration of the radios hardware, implemented in configurable logic. The frequency-hopping capability allows the system to dynamically adjust to avoid interfering with existing users.
