This refers to application, File No. 0834-EX-ST-2018, for an experimental authorization.

You are advised that the Commission is unable to grant your application for the facilities requested. The
application is dismissed because NTIA objects to the FCC STA request on behalf of Virgin Orbit, LLC for
Mojave, CA during the period 1 August 2018 thru 31 January 2019, for the following reason(s):

1.      HIA indicated for multiple frequencies and bandwidths.

2.      Launch vehicles should restrict emission bandwidths to 5 MHz or less.

3.      Launch vehicles should utilize the four frequencies given in the draft NPRM on commercial
launch (i.e., 2211.0 ± 4 MHz, 2215.0 ± 4 MHz, 2272.5 ± 2 MHz, and 2285-2290 MHz.
