Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We require an STA to perform short term integration and demonstration of our technology with a potential deployment partner at the partners facility. Integration and testing with their equipment is outside of our normal research license area and limited in duration.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Development of community cellular networks for low resource regions. We would like to run a network test bed at low power (<10 watts) in the GSM-900 frequency band to maintain and validate compatibility with available commercial GSM user equipment. Our research explores new community management schemes for low cost GSM-GRPS cellular networks. This operation allows us to integrate our software defined radio technology with a deployment partners hardware and demonstrate our system to a potential funding NGO in February.
