Federal Communication Commission July 29, 2016 445 12th St, SW Washington, DC 20554 Dear Federal Communication Commission : The research project includes using the DJI Inspire unmanned aircraft to collect video data of autonomous parachute systems during descent. The Inspire aircraft is remotely piloted with the Inspire controller system, and a slave controller that provides a convenient method accurately following the payload during descent. All operations are conducted at Camp Roberts within the restricted airspace at the McMillan airfield. Sincerely, Travis D.
