Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
STA is necessary to slightly modify a Part 15 certified device (SEAUBITAG10-U) for a university research experiment not expected to exceed twelve months. The University of California - Berkley is conducting a study about the movement of volunteer subjects in their residences. The University will employ Part 15 certified devices to conduct monitoring of the subjects. However, it is necessary to slightly increase the power on the Part 15 devices in order to monitor the subjects. At all times, the subjects are instructed to use the monitoring devices only indoors.
