      This request seeks a special temporary authorization to demonstrate prototype ultra
wideband (“UWB”) units as follows:

       Purpose: Demonstration of time modulated Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Radar at the U.S.
       Naval Academy Conference on IT.

       Note: According to the FCC TOWAIR database, the nearest landing areas to the U.S.
       Naval Academy, 121 Blake Road, Annapolis MD is 5.04 miles away.

Number of units: 5 PADs and 1 RV 1000/2000

Antenna gain: nominally 0 dB

Radiated power: less than – 73dBW/MHz

Note: The radiated emissions level will not exceed the limits that are specified in the June,
1999 letter that granted Time Domain a limited waiver to market RadarVision™ devices.
