Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is necessary to provide for short term temporary operation of ultra-wideband field disturbance sensor at an IEEE 802LAN/MAN Standards Committee (LMSC) conference. The equipment is that which was authorized under FCC ID NUF-CW for Part 15 use except that it has a timer instead of a deadman's switch. The timer limits maximum transmit time to 20 minutes. The equipment functions as a see-through-the wall radar. It is to be demonstrated at a IEE 802 conference. The equipment is to provide the conference attendees with a first hand look at UWB technology as it relates to wireless LAN communications. The conference is to be held at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque in Albuquerque, NM on 330 Tijeras NW. The conference dates are March 6th through the 10th, 2000. Note the operation is to be indoors. See Exhibit 3 for details.
