   The MITRE Corporation is a not-for-profit Federally Funded Research &
Development Center (FFRDC) that assists the U.S. government with scientific research
and analysis, development and acquisition, and/or systems engineering and integration.
The SATCOM and Network Research Laboratory, located in Colorado Springs and
established in 1998, evaluates commercial communications technology for
implementation in Department of Defense applications. This work is performed under
Air Force contract FA8721-04-C-0001 and Army contract DAAB07-03-C-N206.

  We would like to renew our current license (0286-EX-RR-201) as a 5 year
experimental license and add C and X bands to the license. The 4.6m antenna licensed
under 0286-EX-RR-201 will be used for the additional bands and the feeds are certified
for Intelsat and DSCS.

C-band transmit frequency range is 5.85 – 6.425 GHz.
X-band transmit frequency range is 7.9 – 8.4 GHz
