Textron Systems Unmanned Systems is conducting contractor testing of the Unmanned Influence Sweep System (UISS), which is an unmanned surface craft intended for delivery to the US Navy (prime contract # N00024-14-C-6322).

Please explain the purpose of operation:  The UISS is equipped with an Automatic Identification System (AIS) that will transmit the UISS's location, speed, heading and related navigational data.
