September 20, 2017 Question 7: Purpose of Experiment Textron Aviation is developing multi-mission ISR and light attack aircraft equipped with UHF radios. We do not have a U.S. Government contract for sale of the aircraft at this time. We need these frequencies for aircraft certification testing, demonstrations and training at our Wichita facilities. We have already applied for and received an STA for these frequencies with same parameters and location. The call sign is WL9XMH.
