Hi Guillo,

BLUF: I need to re-coordinate to get center frequencies that comply with
NTIA 4.3.18 channel plan for 4400-4940 MHz. I am requesting 4575 MHz and
4605 MHz, which comply with the channel plan (please verify this is
correct). All other parameters are the same as you coordinated below.

Explanation: I received a call from John Kennedy at the FCC advising that
the frequencies I requested do not comply with the NTIA channel plan for
4400-4940 MHz (4.3.18). "They" have new software that flagged the error. The
frequencies I requested are on a different license we have for the same area
and frequencies, but bandwidth of 16M5. The center frequencies of 4570 and
4600 MHz are valid for a 20 MHz channel, but not 10 MHz. Since the max
bandwidth we use for Vortex is less than 10 MHz, the channel plan requires a
different center frequency to comply with the table. NTIA denied 4600 MHz,
but granted 4570 MHz to give me an opportunity to re-coordinate for two
frequencies that comply, and then modify the license. A copy of the license
is attached FYI.

Sorry for not catching this in the original request.

Subject: [Non-DoD Source] Textron Aviation Coordination Request for Wichita
Vortex STA

Hi Guillo,

Hope all is well in Texas. Looking forward to the Fall FMG in San Antonio.

Textron Aviation, Inc. needs to coordinate with you for an experimental STA
(to get an authorization soonest possible), and follow up with an
application for a 2-year experimental license. The frequencies I am
requesting are already on experimental license WH2XCK (attached) that we
have for the same location, but the transmitter make/model, power, bandwidth
and emissions are different. We are OK with using the same frequencies as

on the attached license. These frequencies will be used for development,
testing, and demonstration of airborne platforms incorporating the Vortex
datalink transceivers.
