The transmitters under test are commercially available certified radios installed in aircraft that operate in
the 118-137 MHz aviation band. The exact make/model of transceiver depends on the model of aircraft
and customer preferences. Manufacturers and models of transceivers incorporated into our aircraft
include the Garmin G1000 NXi on some our general aviation aircraft, and the Rockwell Collins ARC-210
on some ISR platforms. There are others, and the makes/models change as avionics continue to evolve.
