Question 7: Purpose of Experiment

a) Textron Aviation is developing multi-mission aircraft with advanced avionics
systems. This license is needed for functional testing, certification and
demonstrations to potential customers.

b) The transmitter must be tested while installed on the aircraft in all modes to ensure
that it performs as required and does not interfere with the functioning of any other
system on the aircraft.

c) The capability provided by this transceiver is needed to fulfill the functional
requirements for our multi-mission aircraft platforms.
