Purpose of Operation

Please explain the purpose of operation:

Testing equipment. Applicant is in the process of developing a new model of its previously certificated Part 15 device (a tabletop tablet at restaurants and similar locations for ordering, entertainment, etc.). It would like to test this new model at one of its customers restaurants. The test devices will be labelled with the following disclosure: This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until FCC authorization is obtained. Applicant will install and operate no more than 50 of these devices in a single restaurant for such testing, and all these test devices will have the requisite permanently affixed label with the disclosure information set forth above. Applicant closely will monitor the testing at all times. It immediately will stop operation of all test devices if any interference occurs and only will resume test operations when such interference is eliminated.
