Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
STR requires a STA to develop and test a prototype for a future space-based Radar for DoD customer. Require outdoor radiation to test and meet contract needs.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Radar data collection from ground-based radar using phased array system being developed under this contract. Will be used to illuminate of targets of opportunity such as commercial aircraft and ground vehicles.
