Message:

AFTRCC Coordination is not required for this STA application. While it is understood that the band
2390-2395 MHz is shown to be shared on a co-primary basis in the table of allocations between flight test
telemetry and the Amateur Radio Service, the band segment is not used for flight test telemetry because
AFTRCC was unable to reach agreement with the Amateur Radio Service on a sharing arrangement.

The band 2390-2400 MHz has been used only by Amateur Radio operators, and it is frequently used
pursuant to STA by video production entities for short term operation and for short term operation by
entities such as the applicant Sportvision. STA applications specifying 2390-2400 MHz have been
granted without AFTRCC coordination for many years and to the present time. AFTRCC Coordination is
necessary only for the band 2360-2390 MHz.
