Description of the modification

This modification to experimental license 0176-EX-CM-2018 includes two additional antennas at our
Vandenberg launch site. One is at the launch pad, and the other is just East of the launch pad. While
they will function as receivers during landing, we have included them in this modification to gain the
option to use them for RF checkouts prior to a launch, and after a landing.

The two antenna location are listed in the modification application form 442 as “LZ-4” and “Hilltop East
of SLC-4E”. They are identical to the nearby antenna at the launch pad (SLC-4E), but not tower mounted.
