February 15, 2018 Southwest Airlines 2832 Shorecrest Drive Dallas, TX 75235 FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION 1270 Fairfield Road Gettysburg PA 17325-7245 Application Narrative for Proposed Equipment Proposed Program Southwest Airlines is proposing GPS within their airplane manufacturing building for testing purposes. Objectives We seek to accomplish the following objectives: 1. Illumination of the part of the manufacturing facility, located at 2832 Shorecrest Drive, Dallas, TX 75235 with a GPS signal to allow for the testing and experimentation indoors for continued exploration of utilizing GPS technologies within their airplanes to provide innovative applications and continue to provide safe products. 2. Further design, development and enhancement of existing GPS applications to provide greater efficiency and more effective means of utilizing GPS derived information
