Message:

Ms. Altman,

Your license/application has been set aside for further review.

Please address the following questions/issues:
1. License grant is for testing with both Iridium and Globalstar, but only lists frequencies in the Globalstar
portion of the Big LEO band. Has this been coordinated with Globalstar?
2. Are the Globalstar and Iridium operators aware of this use?
3. The license lists operations at 500 km altitude. Is this correct? Will the radios transmit during the early
phases of the launch, or only when the launch vehicle reaches orbit?
4. Can the modems be commanded to cease transmissions via ground command?

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of September 29, 2017 may result
in application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section
1.1108.
